John C. Worsfold

John Worsfold joined VS&B in 2008 after relocating to California from Montana where he had a successful career as a felony prosecutor in the D.A.’s office. As a prosecutor, Mr. Worsfold took over 50 cases to trial and verdict in addition to the endless number of cases he managed and argued in court.

He has extensive experience in all areas of criminal law from DUI’s to Aggravated Kidnaping to Deliberate Homicide. Mr Worsfold has successfully attended the exclusive and distinguished National Advocacy Center in Columbia, South Carolina and the Montana Trial School in Missoula, Montana. He also spent several years as a member of the Montana Medical Legal Panel, vetting medical malpractice claims.

Now with VS&B, Mr. Worsfold’s practice includes all areas of civil litigation, personal injury, medical malpractice, business litigation, bankruptcy, and criminal defense. After graduation from The University of Michigan he served two years as a volunteer in The U.S. Peace Corps in the Philippines. Upon his return to the United States he attended the University of Montana School of Law. John is admitted to practice law in California state courts, Central District of California federal court, and in all courts in Montana.

John enjoys spending his free time surfing at the beaches and backcountry skiing.
