The fish on the attack!Team Piranha is made up of a group of dedicated friends who enjoy sailing together.  We have no "rock stars" and like it that way!  The secret to going fast is a steady crew and practice.  Most of our team have sailed together for at least five seasons now, and for Steve and I this will be our sixteenth season sailing together.  Where do you find them?  On the gas dock short on crew for a beer can race...at a horse show...last minute fill in diver...friends of the crew...over a beer at CYC...  The only mistakes made on this boat are made by the guy on the helm!

2002 was a season unlike any I have ever seen.  Piranha was both Schock 35 National Season Champion and won its record setting fifth Fleet Championship.  Nothing but firsts and seconds for the entire year!!!

Piranha at 1990 MidwintersI would like to thank Ullman Sails, Baytronics, Baja Naval, Layline and One Willow for providing services and help to our racing efforts.  Dave Ullman is always available to reevaluate sail inventory or practice.  Without good instruments, in my opinion From left: Mike, Kris, Paul, Marty, Dennis and Jeffyou might as well stay home and John and his boys at Baytronics know how to do it right.  Baja Naval is the best kept secret around.  They will quickly give you a complete estimate by fax and do an excellent job at prices well below those in US yards.  If you need running rigging for a Schock 35, call Henry Mallard at Layline.  They can do quick turnarounds and understand the hitech rigging needs of our boat.  And finally, if you want the crew to look good, One Willow (310.823.2123) does a great job of putting together embroidered hats, shirts, jackets and sweatshirts for many boats in the fleet at rock-bottom prices.Team Piranha - Click for large image
